Our chalets La Vieille Ferme and Chalet Madosa are available throughout the year on a self-catered basis. The chalets can both accommodate large groups and are popular with family groups, corporate parties and groups of friends. Enjoy a thoroughly relaxing and comfortable break in a true home-from-home.
The chalets both offer ensuite bedrooms, a fully-equipped kitchen, large open-plan living and dining area, games room with pool table, heated boot room and a large, sunny garden with barbecue terrace and hot-tub. Chalet Madosa also has a sauna.
Chalet Madosa is located in the centre of Morzine, with numerous amenities within a short walk.
From La Vieille Ferme, driving to/from the ski-slopes is quick and easy, but we can also organise a private minibus chauffeur service if you prefer.

Saint Jean d’Aulps is a traditional savoyarde village just outside Morzine. It offers a range of excellent restaurants, bars and shops, which can all be reached in 5-10 minutes (on foot) from the chalet. You can read more about Saint Jean d’Aulps here.
In the winter St Jean d’Aulps is the perfect base for a family ski trip. It has its own ski area with over 50kms of un-spoiled, quiet and beautiful pistes. The skiing is centered around the wonderful “Roc d’Enfer” and offers views over beautiful Lake Geneva and the Mont-Blanc mountain range. A Portes du Soleil ski pass includes the ski slopes in St Jean d’Aulps; or you can buy a pass just for the local area if you prefer. The rest of the Portes du Soleil ski domain (over 650km of linked ski-pistes, board-parks and limitless off-piste terrain spanning France and Switzerland is also easily accessible from the village.
Morzine is a bustling ski village offering dozens of bars and restaurants, numerous shops and a couple of nightclubs. Originally a farming and slate mining community, Morzine has retained the genuine character and charm of a small French village but had been a popular skiing destination since the first Pleney cable car was installed in 1934. You can find ice-skating, bowling, cinema, swimming, an indoor sports centre and many more amenities to keep you busy. Morzine has won the “Family Plus” award – recognising the ski village as the ideal holiday location for families.
The approximate times (by car) door-to-door from La Vieille Ferme chalet to the various local ski lifts are listed below. Parking is possible at any of these ski-lifts. At those labelled * the parking is free.
Chalet Madosa is located in the centre of Morzine and you can walk to either the Super-Morzine or Pleney ski lifts from the chalet in roughly 10 minutes. The chalet is also on a free bus-route. Journey times to the closest lifts by bus are listed below
If you are bringing a car, you can also drive and park at Ardent or Prodains.
