Get the most out of your time on the slopes by booking lessons or a guide. You could even try something new: cross-country skiing, ski-touring, split-boarding or a snow-shoe hike.
Alpine Adventure regularly work with a number of great ski and snowboarding schools in the area, offering both group and private lessons to adults and children.
You can choose to take lessons in a number of different locations: for example Pleney (in Morzine), Prodains (in Avoriaz), Ardent (just outside Avoriaz) or St Jean d'Aulps. Make sure when booking that your lift pass covers the area where your lessons will be held!
We are happy to advise on the different lesson options on offer and which type of tuition would work best for your group. We do recommend that you contact the ski schools directly to book your lessons, as they like to dicuss your ability level, preferences and requirements in detail. For peak holiday periods (Christmas, New Year, Half-Term, Easter) it is advisable to book lessons and courses well in advance of your arrival.

If you prefer to ski independently but don't know the area well, we can give you plenty of advice before you head out onto the slopes. For example: choosing the best runs to suit your ability; finding the slopes where the snow conditions are best; avoiding bottlenecks and where to find the best mountain restaurants.
If you fancy a break from down-hill skiing there are many other ways to pass the time in the Portes du Soleil. We are happy to organise any activities that you would like to try. Order your ski passes in advance of your arrival and let us collect them to save you valuable skiing time. We will have the ski passes waiting for you at the chalet when you arrive in Morzine. The price that you pay will be the same, or lower, than you would pay directly to the ski pass offices for in-resort bookings.
We will fit your ski equipment in the comfort of your chalet. Why queue in an overcrowded ski shop when you could be enjoying a glass of champagne whilst chatting to our knowledgable team? Quality brands and models, with discount too!
We can provide hassle-free minibus shuttles to and from the ski slopes in Morzine and beyond. Head where you want, when you want, with no need to walk in ski boots! This service is offered free of charge to catered chalet guests at La Vieille Ferme and can be booked as an add-on service for self-catering visitors. Evening taxis can also be organised.
We can advise on the best ski schools for private or group ski and snowboard lessons in Morzine Avoriaz and Les Gets. Technical skills-based courses, on and off-piste guiding, ski-touring, cross-country skiing, snowshoe walks and various other mountain-based activities can also be arranged.
We can help to find an in-house or creche-based childcare solution for your family. We also provide cots, high-chairs, toys and games. All of our chalets are very family-friendly and Morzine is an award-winning family ski resort.
